Como comentario inicial, me gustaría decir que el árbitro de este partido fue atroz. Todas las decisiones fueron en nuestra contra. Fue repugnante y vergonzoso. El árbitro pitaba faltas cada vez que el banquillo del otro equipo se lo pedía.
En un encuentro de liga muy disputado en el Whitsett Soccer Field el 15 de febrero de 2025, el Inter 10-11 se enfrentó al Panditas 10, y finalmente sucumbió a una derrota por 3-1. The half concluded with Panditas leading 1-0, but the second half would prove to be even more eventful. Inter started brightly, with Kenny Barrios equalising just before half-time in the 40th minute, giving the team a renewed sense of hope. However, the joy was short-lived as Panditas responded immediately, scoring a direct free-kick just a minute later, followed by another goal in the 42nd minute, extending their lead to 3-1.
Inter made further substitutions, bringing on Christopher Marroquin for Matthew Sanchez in the 42nd minute and Jason Mejia for Kenny Barrios shortly after the restart. The match continued to be intense, with Edwin Coreas receiving a yellow card in the 49th minute, followed by two yellow cards for Panditas players for violent conduct in the 50th and 51st minutes. With a dirty foul on Oskar Almendarez in the box as he was tackled by two platers from behind with no attempt to play the ball, the referee awarded the foul which should have been a penalty but he made Inter take a throw in instead when the other team’s coach started yelling at him for calling the foul and awarding the penalty.
The match took a dramatic turn in the 57th minute when Panditas were reduced to ten men after a red card was issued. However, Inter's Nathan Anzaldo soon followed suit, receiving a second yellow card, which left his team with ten players as well. The referee let the game get out of hand with his horrible calls.
Despite their efforts, Inter 10-11 could not find a way back into the match, succumbing to a disappointing defeat against Panditas 10. The result leaves Inter with much to ponder as they look to regroup and bounce back in their next fixture.
