why always us
why always us?
the end of october and im getting seriously peed off with this league some refs other teams some of our own players and now the weather!no wonder i always seem to be angry lately and iwe broke down on the way home from watching liverpool play crap at sunderland an all.
right that makes me feel a bit better this was a game we could have easily have won,yes i know for those of you who didnt watch that will sound very strange when you look at the score, but the one big turning point happened after 50 minutes with us well on top 3-2 down but really should have been winning ,when a 2 footed tackle was rightly deemed to be a red card them down to ten us on top i was almost in a good mood! so what happens next trust me they wouldnt have guessed this on question of sport we go to take the free-kick when the ref summons the player to him he refuses so ref walks to him already wearing a coat and says i'v changed my mind come back on! so where shellshocked their on a high and 10 minutes later its 6-2 and they can do what they like.
the game had started so well with a few changes from last week could have well been more with 5 in midfield kieth coming back after alittle bit of a break (5 years i think) and paul kav behind colin . after 8 minutes telf had a free-kick tipped over took the corner and alan headed in every time we crossed the ball we created chances. once again though we couldnt keep a lead and once again it was the long ball down the middle which caught us out with the defence up and dave back well back it was a simple finish.we retook the lead with a good team move with si squaring for colin to tap in but again see above for equliser then just before the break they took the lead this time by playing football.
we still had chances either side of the break but this all stopped with the ref and his bizzare decision as you could see are confidence disappear couple this with the decision to wave play on when paul was brought down clean through when it was 2-1 you knew yet again it wasnt our day with dave even dave missing a backpass for one of their goals.
so up to widnes next week for a county cup game and hopefully a win and a much needed confidence boost.
