Report from James
Just want to say a massive well done to the lads today.
Looking at the team me and Pete had to re-jig the players and play some out of position which showed in the first 15 minutes. We looked unsettled and panicked on the ball going 2-0 down. But it didn't seem to phase the lads much. We found our composer and began creating chances and looked settled on the ball for the last 20 minutes of the first half. We created some great chances and I could see it was a matter of time before we grabbed a goal back to get the confidence we needed to get back into the game.
The lads really dug deep and the goal eventually came with a ball from Elnathan and Coby opened his tally for the day. 2-1 Blyth.
Our defence tightened up and midfielders filled in at the centre, we were always looking for balls to wingers and again we split their defence down and we creating opportunities both out wide and down the middle of the field.
Another goal put us 2-2 with great play and a splitting run from Coby with a well-placed finish.
3rd goal came from a pen with a scramble in the box Their player caught Lucas and the penalty was awarded. Hard decision but I gave the pen to Coby with a great kick that took us into a 3-2 lead. We then defended really well to close the game out and we fully deserved the win.
Man to man in the game today, everybody played well.
A big apology to Oliver Harrison I'm so sorry I'd not play you I will make it up to you.
Everyone showed great determination and deserve to be at the top of the league.
It was a hard decision to pick the man of the match because they all played well. I was split between Juddy, Elnathan and Coby but Coby just edged it in my eyes.
Just want to mention Archie as well a big improvement again.
I'd love to spend all day and mention what every player fetched to the game but I'm cooking dinner.
Well done everyone and thank you to the parents for getting the kids here on time.

Just wanna say how proud I am of every one of the lads today and their attitude and for some of the lads who stepped up and took one for the team you should all be proud of yourselves today and what you have done today. To be angry and annoyed and get on with it and come back from 2-0 down shows real guts and will to win. You impress me and James every week with your attitude and your will to win not just for yourselves but for your teammates. I know some of the lads want happy today but you did a job for me and James and your mates and you all should be proud of yourselves today. Well to Coby on your hat trick and man of the match. Juddy you were excellent today you get better every week. JJ you were excellent when called upon. You need to not question yourself just get the ball and get rid. You did that today after a shaky start NEVER question yourself just go and do it your the last line of the defence. Archie today mate that was the best game and you worked your backside off you should be really proud of yourself. Lucas your work rate and effort today mate was outstanding you were a menace today. Tommy, Alfie Smith and El Nathan today you three really took one for the team. I made the decision on Alfie and Elnathan today because I trusted you guys to do that job today and you both were excellent and you should also be proud of yourselves today our Tommy want happy but he was like lightning down the wing and his crosses today were brilliant. He also came back up to clear the defence up in the end even though he also want happy he did his job and he was brilliant. So thank you three today for taking one for the team and playing massive parts today. Olly every week your attitude and behaviour is getting better. The old Olly would have gotten upset with the Handballs and lost his head a little today you showed great behaviour and kept going when things want going your way I am really proud of you today. Coby well-done mate brilliant work and attitude and you took your goals well. You should be proud of yourself mate as me and James are of you. A special mention to Ollie who didn't get on today and I know this got to James today as it did me but he never complained moaned or got upset he came with a smile on his face and was really happy celebrating at the end with lads. You lads today all grew today as a team and worked the whole 60 minutes as a team you won that game today because you wanted it more. Your desire to win after the setback was brilliant and James and Myself couldn't be prouder of you guys today we all left today's game buzzing. I want o say a special thank you to the parents who again have been brilliant and we can't do this without your ongoing support we are both really grateful to you all today. Both myself and James look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday night go and enjoy the rest of your weekend guys you all deserve it. I also wanna say sorry to Kayleigh I am sorry if I missed the tackle on your Lucas but she bent my ear about it after the game lol... All in all its been a great day and we are at top of the league with a game in hand now guys we can all agree it's nice to be on top and we want to stay there now and win this league as a whole team thank's again guys enjoy the rest of your weekend...
