The match, which kicked off at 2:00pm, ended in a 4-2 victory for the Panthers, showcasing their attacking prowess and resilience throughout the contest.
The Panthers lined up in a 4-2-1-3 formation, designed to provide a solid defensive base while allowing for fluid attacking transitions. Dylan Bingham took his place in goal, shielded by a back four consisting of Thomas Hunt on the right, George Adlem and Dominik Chudy in central defence, and Jamie Gray on the left. The midfield duo of Barney Budd and Olly Ray were tasked with controlling the centre of the park, while Josh Akpagbula operated just ahead as an attacking midfielder. The front three featured Jamie Moore on the right, Daniel Goodson as the central striker, and Noah Iglewski on the left flank, all expected to exploit any gaps in the Bournemouth defence.
The substitutes for the match included Nickolas Mieszkowski, Nayan Heward-Mills, and Brian Goga Jashari, who were poised to make an impact from the bench as the game unfolded.
The Panthers made a blistering start to the match, taking the lead in just the fourth minute. George Adlem found the back of the net, converting a corner delivered by Thomas Hunt, sending the home crowd into raptures. The early goal set the tone for an engaging first half, with the Panthers looking to build on their advantage.
As the match progressed, Bournemouth Electric began to find their rhythm, but the Panthers' defence held firm, with Adlem and Chudy particularly impressive in thwarting the visitors' advances. However, a tactical substitution was made in the 37th minute, with Nickolas Mieszkowski replacing Olly Ray, as the Panthers sought to maintain their control in midfield.
The first half concluded with the score at 1-0, and the teams headed into the break with the Panthers holding a slender lead. The second half resumed with Bournemouth Electric determined to equalise, and they did just that shortly after the restart. In the 50th minute, the visitors scored an inside-the-box goal, bringing the match level at 1-1.
Undeterred, the Panthers responded with renewed vigour. In the 56th minute, Josh Akpagbula restored their lead, tapping in a cross from Noah Iglewski, showcasing the attacking intent that had characterised their play. The Panthers were not finished yet, as Bournemouth Electric struck back again in the 66th minute, scoring another inside-the-box goal to level the match at 2-2.
The Panthers made further tactical adjustments, bringing on Brian Goga Jashari for Jamie Gray in the 48th minute, and later reintroducing Gray in the 72nd minute, replacing Mieszkowski. However, it was George Adlem who would once again become the hero for the Panthers. In the 74th minute, he converted a penalty, awarded after a foul in the box, to put the Panthers ahead 3-2.
As the match drew to a close, Jamie Moore received a yellow card for unsporting behaviour in the 77th minute, but the Panthers maintained their composure. In the dying moments of the match, Daniel Goodson capped off an impressive performance by scoring the Panthers' fourth goal in the 81st minute, assisted by a short pass from Jamie Gray, sealing the victory at 4-2.
Referee Allen Makuni officiated the match with a commendable performance, ensuring the game flowed smoothly despite the intensity on display. The Panthers' victory was a testament to their attacking flair and defensive resilience, with George Adlem earning the Player of the Match accolade for his pivotal contributions, including a goal and a commanding presence at the back.
