First Half
FC 20 started really brightly and moved the ball about the pitch and created the first opening chances. Clarke, Carter and Barrow all linked well together with the first chance falling to Carter who hit over the bar. Then shortly after came the second chance as Clarke found space in the middle to run at the defenders. He went passed one and then passed ball out wide to Carter who missed another opportunity this time the keeper saving well. Clarke and Carter combined again with again the chance for Carter to put away but the ball was hit right at keepers face!
FC20 were creating a lot of chances but no end product. Another chance beckoned when Barrow played in Carter who shot low at keeper. The rebound came out to Clarke who could not get ball out of his feet. He then wasted the golden opportunity by shooting straight at keeper.
Finally the breakthrough came. Clarke linked up well with Carter whom slid the ball across the goal for Clarke to finish with his left foot!!! GOAL!!! This is no more than what FC20 deserved.
FC20 kept on pressing with Clarke hitting outside of post with a miss placed pass and Carter hitting the same post 5 minutes later.
B2M didn’t create much first half and were very lucky to go in at 1-0 down.
Second Half
The half started with B2M creating a few chances via long range and it seemed that FC20 were nervous as many passes went astray.
Then came the inevitable Second goal. Barrow was found in space down the right . He looked up and crossed to Clarke. Clarke missed timed header saw it flick his shoulder and then off of a defender and into the goal. A bit of fortune but 2-0. Great play from Barrow.
FC20 seemed more comfortable now and the third goal came when Carter and Clarke linked up and Clarkes throughball was well finished off by Carter. Finally a goal from Carter. 3-0
B2M almost went close when their skilful attacker nutmegged Barrow to go one on one but the keeper was up to the challenge.
FC20 then put the game out of reach when Carter found Clarke in space whom went through on goal and wrong footed the keeper with a nice left foot finish at the near post. 4-0 Game Over
Summary
FC20 played some good football at times and completely dominated this match. I feel B2M will take this result as it could have been a lot worse. FC20 were very solid at the back and midfield tracked back well. The forwards created a good amount of chances and the defenders got forward creating good chances. I thought the keeper played really well as he offered the team an extra person and i feel he helped FC20 play possession football at times. Overall a good result but it could have been so much more.
