MOM: many contenders including Jamie Davies & Dazza Nutbeen but it has to go to Chris King for his defensive work and constant chat and keeping everyone on there game.
Overall: slow start and a few heavy touches, but kept are cool and whilst we defended well in the first half and limited the opposition to one shot from distance which went well wide and somehow resluted in a corner which was headed against the post, this was Langleys only chance in the first half, we were denied one penalty after Bill was taken down however after a few missed opportunites we finally got are reward and billy was again taken out and this time the penalty was rewarded, Adam Smith sent the keeper the wrong way to give us a 1 - 0 which was how it stayed at half time. the second half we stepped it up a gear and got into our passing game and never looked like conceeding and after some lovely link up play on the left wing by Darren Nutbeen backhealing a ball through too Shaheen Bastani to put across the 6 yard box for Billy Haynes to finish at the back post. we then got our second penalty of the match after Gav dewey was pulled down and the result was put beyond doubt when Adam Smith claimed his second from the spot again giving the keeper no chance. the icing on the cake came after Dave Chappell scored his first league goal for the club after coming off the bench and smashing the ball home at the near post after cutting in from the left.
