FC NORTH Wiltshire did to the Cavalier what they have failed to in their previous four games and that was take the lead.
On the third minute, influential new signing Simon Gray crossed the ball along the six-yard line for Daniel Dring to finish well.
Cavalier’s were notably shaken and within 10 minutes, FC North Wiltshire had scored again - fantastic header from Paul Colegate after a tidy through ball from Tom Simons.
However the effort was deemed offside, in what was one of many questionable decisions throughout the game.
Cavalier equalised through a well-placed free kick from Roger Wiltshire, of which the quality could not be questioned.
However, the free kick was a result of the goalkeeper James Whitehead being adjudged to handle the ball outside of his area.
The referee overrode the linesman, and the free kick was well finished into the corner of the goal from the edge of the box.
FC North Wiltshire never settled after that, and Cavalier quickly took the lead as the defence of FC North Wiltshire failed to clear their lines allowing Dan Rance to score.
Yet throughout the first half, FC North Wiltshire really pressurised the Cavalier’s and they were unfortunate to go in at half time behind.
The second half was bossed by Cavalier, who rattled up five goals.
Cavalier took their chances well, Frazer Dick making it 3-1.
John Stockman scored three - his hat-trick goal being a well placed header - and Dan Rance scored a second for the winners.
FC North Wiltshire tried tirelessly to get something back from the game, and indeed if it were not for a truly brilliant save from six yards out by the Cavalier goalkeeper, Paul Colegate would have opened his account for the game.
North Wilts eventually pulled one back though Dan Jackson on 85 minutes, a tidy finish from the full back who had a solid game at the back too, despite the score line.
