Well the first game of the Celbridge Community Cup took place. The special one had gathered together a strong squad to compete. In this squad he brought in Youth / Fitness / Old Heads and anyone else he could get at short notice.
The problems for this game started in the dressing room , where there was a heated discussion on the Special One's choice of captain. Comments like "Has the special one lost his mind" / "Look who is sleeping with the Special one" and other comments to that affect.
Thankfully this did not upset the Special One or his choice for captain. No armband was given to the new captain (Bonyo), the previous Captain (Daz) has it stashed away. Mourinho felt the captain needed to have more that 3 letters in his nickname , hence the choice.
Well the Special one - set out his team with the normal formation. But gave further instructions to his New Captain. Which seemed to be ignored ??.
The game ebbed and flowed for the first 15 mins or so. Ojo(The Gazell) playing at right back. This is the most I have ever seen him run at players and take them on - wont do it when he is up further from his own goal. But we wont go into that here.
The performance was good, but with only 12 men, we just ren out of steam. For once John Kelligher stoped holding Jack Bayly's hand, Mourinho knew his team were in trouble. Two fantastic goals, even Mourinho himself would have struggled to save.( I would have saved them, but hey I am the special one).
A new eddition to the squad was the return of Thomas (the Chief) Cheevers, after over 9 months in the wilderness the prodical son returned, showed some of his old touches and should have kicked Stafford more.
We now go live to the after match press conference - Garth Crooks is putting the questions to the special one.
Garth: Good evening (nods his head) Special one

Garth: How do you think you did there tonight
Special One: How did I think we did ? - We lost 2-0
Garth: Did you feel with mercury rising in the equinox , this affected the performance
Special One : ?
Garth: The exuberance and timing of the team , would you say that if you closed your eyes , you could not tell the difference between them
Special one: Not if I closed my eyes, I would not be able to see them
Garth: Do you feel when you conceded the first goal , you left yourself with an uphill mountian
Special one: What are you smoking ? - Can you please ask some decent question.
Garth: During the wilderness the loin awakens to take stock
Special one: What are you talking about. - i get more sense out of refs these days
Garth: Did you feel like playing on the Astro in Leixlip was like playing away from your home ground
Special One: Garth, I have had enough from you tonight - Lets just get a few things straight, I am the Special One, This goes along with my good looks and fantastic sense of hunour. I will now sit back and plan our march to the final
