This Sunday saw Bow host their hospice cup final opponents in cranes at the South marsh..
With striker Tyrone Davidson first appearance back from injury we decided to take a 4-4-2 approach
Cranes made an explosive start and flew into a 2-0 lead, Bow looked like they were still in bed. With a mountain to climb Bow dug deep and changed the game plan.
We started to boss the midfield and out battle the opposition all over the park, we were creating a lot of chances a goal looked certain.
With the ball in the air Geordie out jumped the centre half putting Sam through on goal. A quick look up and he squres it to Tyrone.... goal one back game on!
A long ball down the wing from Jordan to Geordie who heads the ball on over the defender and crosses for Tyrone to bag his second 2-2 all square.
With some lovely footwork from Alfie wren he slots Sam Stacey in ... Off the post !!! Tyrone on to the Rebound .... goal 3-2 and a hat trick for Tyrone!
Bow were now playing some lovely football all over the park with Riley Richards doing a lovely one two with Tony Mowles leaving him with loads of space down the left he whips a low cross in .... goal Sam Stacey is their !!
4-2 half time
Sub Luke Barter off for Jamie ....
With Jamie going right back this freed up Jordan Lewis to go into LM. With bow dominating and testing the keeper time after time efforts from Geordie, Alfie and Sam another goal was on the cards
Riley Richards wins the ball and burst down the left hand and plays the ball to Jordan with a peach of a cross into the boxgoal Tyrone with his 4th and Bows 5th 5-2! Game surely settled now
Sub Stuart Sheppard on for Danny hunt
With such a lead Bow took their foot of the gas a little and let Cranes into the game, but they rarely testing keeper Nick Pyne
Sub John Hughes on Tyrone Davidson
The Cranes striker gets into bows box and goes down very easy, penalty awarded.
Player steps up for cranes ...... SAVE Great save by Nick Pyne that's two penalty saves against cranes !!
Cranes piled on some pressure but Bow stood firm and worked as unit solid and hard to break down
