Away league match played on 20 November 2013.
Kicked off at 2:00 PM

2 minutes extra time played.

An injury-plagued Ajax Trees Down squad were hit with the news that goalkeeper Sam Footman and Centre Back Matthew Ashworth would be unavailable, leaving the team with 1 substitute.

The team lined up in the usual 5-3-2 formation, with Alex McGawley deputising in goal. Ryan Bromley and Antony Fray provided the width, with the defensive trio consisting of Vice Captain Jack Hancill, Liam Seaton and Daniel Duckworth. Will Watson captained the side from his usual central midfield position, and was joined by Jack Fenton, who was carrying a slight knock, as well as Chris Liddell. The strike partenrship once again consisted of Rhys Lisle and Jordan Grindley.

Things did not start well for Ajax Trees Down, when in the 10th minute, a low cross from the right was allowed to find it's man inside the box, who promptly fired home, squeezing the ball through deputy 'keeper McGawley's legs.

Lisle was forced off the field shortly after, after damaging his knee in a collision with an opposition player, allowing Gouldsboro to join the rest of the starting 11 in making his third appearance of the season. Lisle's departure sparked a tactical shuffle, with Gouldsboro taking the Right Wing-Back berth, and Bromley being pushed into a more advanced forward role.

Following their early set back, it was clear to see that Ajax's heads had dropped, and All Saints United soon had a second, when a midfield runner was not tracked and hammered in a lay off from his striker to McGawley's left hand side.

Ajax were by no means out of this however, and offered some opposition with Liddell, Fenton and Watson attempting to combine in midfield, and Grindley making lots of running in the opposition half.

An opportunity presented itself for Watson when Grindley was fouled on the edge of the area, but his free kick was hit straight at the wall, and the rebound charged down.

The game looked dead and buried on 37 minutes, when the All Saints right winger beat his man for pace, and waltzed into the Ajax area, rolling it across goal for his striker to tap into an empty net.

All Saints United nearly added a fourth before half time when a powerful strike from the edge of the area clipped the bottom of post and went wide.

Following the break, and the re-introduction of Lisle for Fenton, Ajax sought to rally round, and attempt a come back, with Grindley dropping into midfield to provide some energy, and Lisle moved up top as a creative outlet.

Almost immediately following the kick off, All Saints had their fourth. A cross from the right wing finding a man unmarked in the box, following a lack of communication between Duckworth and McGawley.

Ajax finally made the breakthrough in the 51st minute when Lisle was fouled roughly 30 yards from goal, and Liddell stepped up to smash home the resulting free kick, to the goalkeepers right hand side.

Normal service was resumed only moments later however, when All Saints scored their 5th, an effort from the edge of the box taking McGawley by surprise and beating him at his near post.

Ajax captain Watson was forced off in the 60th minute, handing the armband to Hancill, after aggravating a pre-existing hamstring injury and was replaced by Jack Fenton taking his position in the midfield.

All Saints United's sixth goal did not arrive until the 61st minute, when a mix up in defence allowing the All Saints striker to add to their tally.

The final goal of the contest arrived courtesy of a miscued clearance, which landed perfectly for the All Saints striker to tap home, and wrap up the contest.

The final score was not altogether reflective of the game however, as Ajax were actually fairly competitive throughout the game, quite often failing to beat the opposition's offside trap, and composed defence.
