Rowsley & District Youth League
The Rowsley & District Youth League (RDYFL) is an amateur football league for players aged 7-18 in the Derbyshire Dales area of England.
The league was founded in 1947 and currently has over 300 teams and 4,000 players. It is affiliated to the Derbyshire County Football Association (Derbyshire FA).
History
The RDYFL was founded in 1947 by a group of local football enthusiasts who wanted to provide more opportunities for youngsters to play the game. The league started with just a few teams and has grown steadily over the years.
In 1997, the league affiliated to the Derbyshire FA, which gave it access to more funding and resources. The RDYFL has a long and proud history of providing opportunities for youngsters to play football. Many former RDYFL players have gone on to play professional football, including David Nugent, Ashley Young, and Jack Grealish.

The RDYFL offers a variety of competitions for players aged 7-18, including:

The league also offers a number of cup competitions, including the RDYFL Cup, the RDYFL Trophy, and the RDYFL Challenge Cup.
