History
Powerleague was founded in 1987 by brothers Peter and Paul Johnson.
The company's first centre opened in Harrow, London, and it quickly expanded to other parts of the UK.
In 1999, Powerleague was acquired by the US company Soccerworld, but it remained under British management.
In 2016, Powerleague was acquired by the German company SGL Sports.
