Introduction
Northernlights.f.c. is an amateur football league based in the North of England. It was founded in 1999 and currently has over 50 teams competing in its various divisions.
The league is affiliated to the English Football Association and its teams compete in the FA Vase, the FA Trophy and the FA County Cups.
History
Northernlights.f.c. was founded in 1999 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The league started with just 10 teams, but it has grown steadily over the years and now has over 50 teams competing in its various divisions.
The league has a strong reputation for competitive football and its teams have won numerous trophies at both regional and national level.
In 2017, Northernlights.f.c. was awarded the FA Charter Standard by the English Football Association. This is the highest level of accreditation that an amateur football league can achieve.
Current season
The current season of Northernlights.f.c. is underway and it is shaping up to be a closely contested one. The top two teams in each division are currently separated by just a few points and there is still everything to play for.
The league cup competitions are also well underway and there have been some exciting matches so far. The FA Vase and FA Trophy competitions are also due to start later this year.
