Liverpool County Premier League
The Liverpool County Premier League is an amateur football league based in Merseyside, England. It was founded in 2006 as a merger of the Liverpool County Football Combination and the I Zingari League. The league has three divisions, the Premier Division, Division One and Division Two.
History
The Liverpool County Football Combination was founded in 1922, while the I Zingari League was founded in 1927. The two leagues merged in 2006 to form the Liverpool County Premier League.
The Premier Division of the Liverpool County Premier League is currently at Step 7 of the National League System, which is the ninth tier of the English football league system. The top two teams in the Premier Division are promoted to the North West Counties League Division One North, while the bottom two teams are relegated to Division One.
Current Season
The current season of the Liverpool County Premier League is the 2023-2024 season. The Premier Division is currently being led by Halewood Apollo, with MSB Woolton in second place. The bottom two teams are Warbreck and Admiral Park.
