Team History
Yaknocka was founded in 1970 by a group of young men from Yaknocka township. The team quickly became one of the top teams in the area, and in 1975, they won their first Nelson Mandela Bay Super League championship.
Yaknocka continued to be successful in the 1980s and 1990s, winning the Nelson Mandela Bay Super League championship 5 more times. In 1994, the team also won the Nelson Mandela Bay FA Cup for the first time.
Yaknocka's most successful period was in the early 2000s. The team won the Nelson Mandela Bay Super League championship 4 times in a row from 2001 to 2004, and they also won the Nelson Mandela Bay FA Cup in 2003.
