The Western Pride U18 football team is a youth team based in Ipswich, Queensland, Australia. The team competes in the National Premier Leagues Queensland U18 competition.
History
The Western Pride U18 team was founded in 2012, when the Western Pride Football Club was formed. The club was created to provide a more professional pathway for Ipswich youngsters within the city, having seen many young Ipswich players move to successful Brisbane clubs such as Olympic FC and Queensland Lions FC.
The Western Pride U18 team has been successful in recent years, winning the NPL Queensland U18 Grand Final in 2017. The team has also produced a number of players who have gone on to play senior football, including Jordan Brown, who currently plays for Brisbane Roar.
