The team has been successful in its short history, winning the Northern Region Football League title in 2020. The team has also produced a number of players who have gone on to play at a higher level, including Tyson Brandt, who is currently a youth international for New Zealand.
Current Season
The Waitemata U23s Development Football Team is currently competing in the 2023 Northern Region Football League. The team is currently in second place, behind North Shore United.
The team's next game is against Onehunga Sports on September 10th. The game will be played at McLeod Park in Auckland.
