VEC 2nds is a football team based in Terenure, Dublin, Ireland. They are the reserve team of VEC FC, who play in the Premier Division of the United Churches Football League of Ireland (UCF).
VEC 2nds were founded in April 1974 by members of the administrative staff working in the City of Dublin Vocational Education Committee. They currently play in Division 1 of the UCFL.
History
VEC 2nds have a long and successful history. They won the UCFL Premier Division in 2008/09, and have also won the Division 1 title on several occasions.
The team has also produced a number of talented players who have gone on to play for professional clubs in Ireland and abroad.
