About the WNPL
The Women's National Premier League (WNPL) is the highest level of women's football in Queensland. It was founded in 2008 and currently consists of 12 teams, including SWQ Thunder.
The WNPL season runs from March to September. The top four teams at the end of the regular season qualify for the finals series, which culminates in a grand final.
The WNPL is a hotly contested league with some of the best women's footballers in Queensland playing in it. The competition is constantly growing and evolving, and it is sure to continue to produce world-class talent in the years to come.
