Rustenburg Bojanala District Football (Soccer) Team was founded in 2000 by a group of community leaders who wanted to provide a footballing opportunity for young people in the Rustenburg area. The team quickly rose through the ranks of the lower leagues and, in 2008, they won promotion to the SAB League.
The team has struggled to maintain their position in the SAB League in recent years, but they remain a popular club in the Rustenburg area. The team's home ground is the Tshepong Stadium, which has a capacity of 10,000.
