Royal Tigers Football Club is a South African soccer team based in Randfontein South. The club was founded in 1970 and currently plays in the SAB Regional League Gauteng Stream.
History
Royal Tigers was founded in 1970 by a group of local soccer enthusiasts. The club started out playing in the local amateur leagues, but quickly rose through the ranks and won promotion to the SAB Regional League in 1980.
Royal Tigers has enjoyed a successful history in the SAB Regional League, winning the league championship on four occasions (1985, 1990, 1995, and 2000). The club has also reached the final of the SAB Regional League Cup on two occasions (1999 and 2001), but has never won the trophy.
