History
Rashenny FC was founded in 1976 by a group of local men who wanted to provide a footballing outlet for the youth of the area. The club initially competed in the Inishowen Junior League, before graduating to the Inishowen Football League in 1980.
Rashenny FC has enjoyed some success in recent years, winning the Inishowen Football League title in 2018 and 2022. The club has also reached the final of the North West Senior Cup on three occasions, most recently in 2021.
