Pearse Celtic FC was founded in 1992 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The club started out in the Cork AUL Division 3 and has since progressed through the divisions to the Premier Division.
The club has won the Cork AUL Premier Division title once, in 2017. They have also won the Cork AUL Cup twice, in 2015 and 2018.
