Paris Saint-Germain (RSA) was founded in 2000 by a group of businessmen from Orlando East. The club's first chairman was Peter Matsemela.
PSG (RSA) joined the Premier Soccer League in 2001. The club finished its first season in 12th place.
In 2004, PSG (RSA) won the Nedbank Cup for the first time. The club defeated Kaizer Chiefs in the final.
PSG (RSA) won its first Premier Soccer League title in 2014. The club finished the season with 60 points, two points ahead of Orlando Pirates.
PSG (RSA) won the Nedbank Cup for the second time in 2017. The club defeated SuperSport United in the final.
