Markham FC is a soccer club based in Markham, Ontario, Canada. The club was founded in 1967 and currently competes in the Ontario Soccer League (OSL).
History
Markham FC was founded in 1967 by a group of local soccer enthusiasts. The club's first team competed in the York-Simcoe Soccer League. In 1974, Markham FC joined the OSL. The club has won the OSL championship four times, in 1982, 1983, 1992, and 2019.
Current team
The current Markham FC team competes in the OSL Premier Division. The team is managed by Michael Valvasori and played its home games at the Markham Pan Am Soccer Centre.
- Markham FC Lightning: The competitive segment of the club that serves players from the under 7 age group for both male and female, through to Open Age for adult competitive.
- Markham Soccer Club House League: A recreational soccer program for players of all ages and abilities.
- Markham Soccer Club Micro Soccer: A program for children ages 3-5 years old.
