History
LONGHORN FC was founded by a group of friends who wanted to create a soccer team for the community of Lenasia Ext 13. The team started playing in local leagues in 2023 and has quickly become one of the most successful teams in the area.
In 2024, LONGHORN FC won the Lenasia Soccer League championship. The team also reached the semi-finals of the Gauteng Province Cup.
Current Season
LONGHORN FC is currently competing in the Lenasia Soccer League Premier Division. The team is in first place after 10 games, with 8 wins and 2 draws.
LONGHORN FC is also competing in the Gauteng Province Cup. The team has reached the quarter-finals and will play against Benoni City FC on August 13th.
Future Plans
LONGHORN FC is planning to expand its youth development program in the next few years. The team also hopes to compete in national tournaments in the future.
