Lions AFC is a football (soccer) team based in Mooreabbey Demesne, Ireland. The team was founded in 1975 and currently competes in the Leinster Senior League.
History
Lions AFC was founded in 1975 by a group of local footballers. The team initially competed in the Wicklow League, before moving to the Leinster Senior League in 1980.
Lions AFC has won the Leinster Senior League title on two occasions, in 1985 and 2003. The team has also reached the final of the FAI Cup on two occasions, in 1986 and 2004.
