Team History
The Lady Panthers were founded in 2005 by a group of women who wanted to play competitive soccer in the Atlanta area. The team quickly became one of the top teams in the GWSL, winning their first championship in 2007. The Lady Panthers have continued to be a successful team, winning the GWSL championship six times in total.
The Lady Panthers have also been successful in the US Open Cup, the national championship for women's amateur soccer teams. The team has reached the quarterfinals of the US Open Cup three times, most recently in 2019.
