Introduction
The JSY football team is the national football team of the British Crown Dependency of Jersey. They are not affiliated to FIFA or UEFA, so they are not eligible to compete in the FIFA World Cup or the UEFA European Championship.
The team's home stadium is the Springfield Stadium in Saint Helier, Jersey. Their nickname is the "Crapauds" or "Beans".
History
The JSY football team was first formed in 1905. They played their first international match against Guernsey on 27 April 1905, which they lost 1-0.
The team's most successful period was in the 1990s, when they won the Inter-Island Games football tournament three times in a row (1993, 1995 and 1997).
The team has also competed in the FIFA Non-Confederations Cup on two occasions, in 2003 and 2005.
