Jacaranda FC is a South African football club based in Pretoria. The club was founded in 1970 and currently competes in the Phelindaba Local Football Association Super League.
History
Jacaranda FC was founded in 1970 by a group of friends in Pretoria. The club initially competed in local tournaments and leagues, but eventually rose through the ranks to compete in the South African National First Division in the early 2000s.
The club's greatest success came in 2004, when they won the Nedbank Cup. Jacaranda FC defeated Mamelodi Sundowns in the final to claim the trophy.
The club has since struggled to maintain their top-flight status and have spent most of the last decade in the lower leagues. However, they are currently in the process of rebuilding and hope to return to the top flight in the near future.
