Ham FC is a Scottish professional football club based in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire. The club was founded in 1874 and currently plays in the Scottish Premiership, the top tier of Scottish football.
Ham FC's home ground is the Fountain of Youth Stadium, which has a capacity of 11,800. The club's most famous player is Stephen Hendrie, who played for Ham FC from 2011 to 2015.
History
Ham FC was founded in 1874 and originally played in the Lanarkshire Football Association. The club joined the Scottish Football League in 1891 and played in the First Division until 1915, when they were relegated due to the First World War.
Ham FC returned to the First Division in 1921 and remained there until 1954, when they were relegated again. The club spent the next 40 years in the Second Division, before winning promotion to the First Division in 1994.
Ham FC have never won the Scottish League title, but they have won the Scottish Cup twice, in 1913 and 1935. The club have also won the Scottish League Cup once, in 1998.
