History
Durbanville F.C. was founded in 1972 by a group of friends who wanted to create a football team in the Durbanville area. The club's first home ground was at the Durbanville Sports Ground.
In the early years, Durbanville F.C. played in the Cape Town Amateur League. The club won the league title for the first time in 1992.
In 1995, Durbanville F.C. moved to their current home ground, the Durbanville Stadium. The club won the league title again in 1995.
In 2002, Durbanville F.C. reached the final of the Cape Town Cup for the first time. The club lost the final to Hellenic.
Durbanville F.C. won the league title for the third time in 2002. The club also reached the final of the Cape Town Cup in 2003, but lost to Hellenic again.
In 2012, Durbanville F.C. won the league title for the fourth time. The club also reached the final of the Cape Town Cup, but lost to Hellenic for the third time.
