Ceres FC, formerly known as Ceres–La Salle FC, is a professional football club based in Bacolod City, Philippines. The club was founded in 2012 by Leo Rey Yanson, and currently competes in the Philippines Football League (PFL).
Ceres FC has won the PFL championship twice, in 2017 and 2019. The club has also won the Copa Paulino Alcantara once, in 2019.
History
Ceres FC was founded in 2012 as Ceres–La Salle FC, with the cooperation of the University of St. La Salle of Bacolod. The club was initially composed of college and some Korean players, becoming primarily led by Philippines national team players.
Ceres–La Salle FC won the PFL championship in their debut season in 2017. The club also won the Copa Paulino Alcantara in 2019.
In 2021, Ceres–La Salle FC was renamed to United City FC. The club also changed its home ground from the Panaad Park and Stadium to the City of Imus Grandstand.
