BTown Jnr Camogie football (soccer) team is a youth team based in Bishopstown, Cork, Ireland. They were founded in 2007 and have since won numerous trophies, including the Munster Junior B Championship in 2018.
The team is open to girls aged 13-17 and trains on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Bishopstown GAA Club. They compete in the Cork Camogie League and the Munster Junior B Championship.
Team history
BTown Jnr Camogie football (soccer) team was founded in 2007 by a group of parents who wanted to provide their daughters with the opportunity to play camogie football. The team quickly grew in popularity and soon had a waiting list for players.
In 2010, the team won their first trophy, the Cork Junior B Championship. They went on to win the championship again in 2013, 2015, and 2018. In 2018, they also won the Munster Junior B Championship.
The team has also competed in the All-Ireland Junior B Championship on several occasions. They reached the semi-finals in 2015 and 2018.
