History
Atlético San Juan was founded in 2016 by a group of local entrepreneurs who wanted to create a competitive football team in the Los Angeles area. The team's first season was in the UPSL Division 2, and they finished in second place in their division. In 2017, the team moved up to the UPSL Division 1, where they have competed ever since.
Atlético San Juan has had some success in recent years. In 2019, they won the UPSL Southwest Conference title and advanced to the UPSL National Championship. They lost in the semifinals to eventual champions FC Miami City.
The team's home stadium is the San Rafael Park in San Rafael, California. The stadium has a capacity of 1,000 spectators.
