History
The team was founded in 2010 by a group of friends who were passionate about soccer. They started out playing in local tournaments and gradually worked their way up to the top divisions of the Johannesburg Soccer League.
In 2018, AIA Football won the Johannesburg Soccer League Premier Division and were promoted to the Gauteng Stream A of the South African National First Division. They finished the season in 12th place, narrowly avoiding relegation.
