History
6Blue FC was founded in 2013 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The club's name is a reference to the ACT's six blue seats in the Australian Parliament. 6Blue FC quickly established itself as a competitive force in the ACT football scene, winning the NPL Capital Football championship in 2015 and 2016.
In 2017, 6Blue FC made its debut in the national NPL competition, the NPL Australia. The club finished its inaugural season in 10th place out of 14 teams.
Recent season
6Blue FC had a successful season in 2022, finishing in third place in the NPL Capital Football. The club also reached the semi-finals of the FFA Cup, where they were defeated by Melbourne City FC.
6Blue FC's current head coach is former Socceroo Paul Wade. The club's home ground is the AIS Football Centre in Bruce, Canberra.
