Yeovil Town Football Club
Yeovil Town Football Club is a professional association football club based in the town of Yeovil in Somerset, England. The team compete in the National League South, the sixth tier of the English football league system.
The club was founded in 1895 as Yeovil Casuals and joined the Somerset Senior League. They won the league title in 1902–03 and 1903–04. In 1920, they joined the Western League and won the title in 1928–29.
The club joined the Football League in 1970, after winning the Isthmian League championship. They played in the Fourth Division until 1990, when they were promoted to the Third Division.
Yeovil Town won the League Two title in 2004–05, their highest league finish to date. They also reached the FA Cup semi-finals in 2005–06, losing to West Ham United.
The club's home ground is Huish Park, which has a capacity of 9,565. The stadium was built in 1990 and is named after the club's former home, Huish, which was located nearby.
The club's nickname is "The Glovers", a reference to the history of glove-making in the town of Yeovil.

League Two is the fourth tier of the English football league system. It is also known as the EFL League Two or Sky Bet League Two for sponsorship reasons.
The league consists of 24 teams, each of which plays each other twice, once at home and once away. The top three teams are automatically promoted to League One, while the fourth-placed team goes into the play-offs with the teams finishing fifth to eighth. The winner of the play-offs also gains promotion to League One.
The bottom two teams in League Two are automatically relegated to National League, while the 22nd-placed team goes into the play-offs with the teams finishing 23rd to 24th. The loser of the play-offs is also relegated to National League.
The current season of League Two started on 30 July 2022 and will end on 28 May 2023.
