Woodford Wells FC is a Sunday League football team based in Woodford Green, London, England. The team was founded in 1908 and currently competes in the Middlesex County Football League.
History
Woodford Wells FC was founded in 1908 by a group of local footballers. The team initially played in the Woodford & District League, before moving to the Essex Senior League in 1921. Woodford Wells won the Essex Senior League in 1924-25 and 1927-28.
The team moved to the Metropolitan League in 1930 and remained there until 1977. Woodford Wells won the Metropolitan League in 1953-54 and 1970-71.
The team moved to the Isthmian League in 1977 and remained there until 1992. Woodford Wells won the Isthmian League Division Two North in 1983-84.
The team moved to the Middlesex County Football League in 1992 and have been playing there ever since. Woodford Wells won the Middlesex County Football League Division One in 2011-12.
