Westdyce FC were founded in 2012 by a small group of friends, and in June of that year were entered into the Aberdeen Sunday amatuer leagues. After two seasons in the Sunday leagues (8th and 6th place finishes respectively), Westdyce were accepted into the Aberdeenshire Amatuer football assocation. After a promising start to their first season, the club was hit with a lot of injuries but still managed to finish an impressive 2nd in division 3, got to the quarter final of the Dickie Trophy and were runners up of the Chattan Rovers Cup.

Westdyke FC is a football club based in Westhill, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. They were founded in 1996 and currently play in the Premier Division of the Aberdeenshire Amateur Football Association.
The club has a long history of success, winning the Aberdeenshire Amateur Football Association Cup in 2005, 2007, 2010, and 2012. They have also been runners-up in the cup on four occasions.
Westdyke FC's home ground is the Westhill Leisure Centre. The club has a thriving youth section, with teams for boys and girls of all ages.

The Aberdeenshire Amateur Football Association (AAFA) is the governing body for amateur football in the City of Aberdeen and County of Aberdeenshire in North East Scotland. They run the Aberdeenshire Amateur Football League and associated cup competitions.
The AAFA was founded in 1947 and is affiliated to the Scottish Amateur Football Association. The league currently has 66 member clubs, playing in five divisions.
The AAFA Cup is the most prestigious cup competition in the association. It is open to all member clubs and is played on a knock-out basis. The cup final is usually played at Pittodrie Stadium, the home of Aberdeen FC.
