The club was founded in 1972 and originally played in the Wirral Amateur League. They joined the Go2Day West Cheshire AF League in 1998.
The club has won the Go2Day West Cheshire AF League Division One title twice, in 2004-05 and 2018-19. They have also won the Go2Day West Cheshire AF League Challenge Cup once, in 2018-19.
