The team was founded in 2010 by a group of Welsh expats living in Shanghai. They play their home games at the Shanghai International Football Center.
The team has won the Shanghai Veterans league championship three times, in 2012, 2015, and 2017. They are also the current holders of the Shanghai Veterans Cup.

Shanghai Veterans Football League
The Shanghai Veterans Football League is a Sunday League football league for players over the age of 35. The league was founded in 2005 and currently has over 40 teams.
The league is divided into two divisions, the Premier Division and the First Division. The Premier Division is the top division and the First Division is the second division.
The season runs from September to May and each team plays each other team twice, once at home and once away. The top two teams in the Premier Division at the end of the season are promoted to the Premier League and the bottom two teams are relegated to the First Division.
The Shanghai Veterans Football League is a great way for expats and locals to stay active and enjoy the game of football. The league is well-organized and competitive, and it is a great way to meet new people and make friends.
