Ward Green Warriors are a grassroots football team based in Barnsley, England. They were founded in 2017 and currently compete in the Barnsley & District Junior Football League.
History
Ward Green Warriors were founded in 2017 by a group of parents who wanted to provide their children with the opportunity to play football in a fun and supportive environment. The team started with just one team, but has since grown to include teams in all age groups from U7s to U16s.
In their first season, Ward Green Warriors won the U10s league title. They have also reached the finals of several cup competitions.
