Vinnons FC was founded in 1972 by a group of friends who wanted to play football together. The club started out in the lowest leagues of French football and gradually worked its way up the divisions. In 2019, Vinnons FC won promotion to the National 3 for the first time.
The club's home ground is the Stade Municipal de Vinnons, which has a capacity of 1,500 spectators. Vinnons FC's colours are red and black.
