Villa Heights FC was founded in 1970 by a group of friends who wanted to play football together. The club quickly rose through the ranks of the Malaysian football pyramid and by the early 1980s, they were competing in the Malaysia FAM League, which was the top flight of Malaysian football at the time.
The club's greatest success came in 1985 when they won the Malaysia FAM League. This was the club's only major trophy to date.
Villa Heights FC has been in decline in recent years and they are currently competing in the Kuala Lumpur Premier League, which is the third tier of Malaysian football.
