The VelociRaptors Football Club is a Mexican professional football club based in Tijuana, Baja California. The club was founded in 2017 and currently competes in the Liga de Expansión MX, the second-tier football league in Mexico.
History
The VelociRaptors were founded in 2017 by a group of businessmen from Tijuana. The club's name was inspired by the Velociraptor dinosaur, which is native to the Baja California region. The VelociRaptors played their first season in the Liga Premier, the third-tier football league in Mexico. In their inaugural season, the VelociRaptors finished in fourth place in the Apertura tournament and third place in the Clausura tournament.
In 2019, the VelociRaptors were promoted to the Liga de Ascenso MX, the second-tier football league in Mexico. The club finished in fifth place in their first season in the Liga de Ascenso MX.
In 2020, the VelociRaptors were renamed the VelociRaptors FC. The club also changed their logo and introduced a new home kit. The VelociRaptors finished in third place in the Apertura tournament and fourth place in the Clausura tournament in 2020.
In 2021, the VelociRaptors finished in second place in the Apertura tournament. The club lost to the Dorados de Sinaloa in the final of the Apertura tournament. The VelociRaptors finished in fourth place in the Clausura tournament in 2021.

The VelociRaptors play their home games at the Estadio Caliente, which is located in Tijuana, Baja California. The stadium has a capacity of 22,000 spectators.
