Ustadh Football Club is a football team based in Busia, Kenya. The team was founded in 1975 by a group of teachers from Busia High School. Ustadh FC is one of the most successful football clubs in Busia, having won the Busia District League title 10 times. The team has also represented Busia County in the national KPL league on several occasions.
History
Ustadh FC was founded in 1975 by a group of teachers from Busia High School. The team was originally named Busia Teachers' College FC, but it was renamed Ustadh FC in 1980. Ustadh FC quickly became one of the most successful football teams in Busia, winning the Busia District League title for the first time in 1978. The team has since won the Busia District League title 9 more times, most recently in 2022.
Ustadh FC has also represented Busia County in the national KPL league on several occasions. The team made its KPL debut in 1990, and it has played in the KPL on 5 other occasions, most recently in 2018.
