The club was founded in 1999 by a group of students at the University of Hertfordshire. They initially played in the Hertfordshire County League, but moved to the Amateur Football Combination in 2005.
The club has won the Amateur Football Combination - North 7 league title twice, in 2014 and 2019. They have also reached the final of the Amateur Football Combination Cup on three occasions, most recently in 2022.
