History
Tullycarnet FC was founded in 1969 by a group of local men who wanted to create a football team in the area. The team initially played in the Mid Ulster Junior League, before moving up to the Mid Ulster Intermediate League in 1972.
In 1983, Tullycarnet FC won promotion to the Mid Ulster Premier Division for the first time. The team has remained in the Premier Division ever since, and has won the league title on three occasions (1992, 2000, and 2016).
