The club is based in the Creggan area of Derry and has a strong community ethos. The club has a number of youth teams and also runs a number of community programmes.
History
Trojans YCG was founded in 1938 by Edmund Carton. The club initially played in the Derry and District League. In 1970, the club joined the Intermediate League.
The club has won the Intermediate League title on four occasions, in 1973, 1977, 1981, and 2016. The club has also won the North West Cup on five occasions, in 1973, 1977, 1981, 1982, and 2016.
